Mr. Tom Forgue
My name is Tom Forgue. I am the Physical Education teacher at All Saints. I can not begin to tell you how blessed I am to be able to continue my relationship with my All Saints family.
I would like to give you a little background on myself. I grew up in the St. Peters area and as a young student I worked very closely with my father. I worked as a mechanic in my Dad's garage until I became interested in law enforcement. On January 1st, 1977 I was hired as a dispatcher for the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department. In April of 1978 I was transferred to the road division where I worked as a Deputy Sheriff. In August of 1981, I switched to the St. Peters Police Department. In May of 1993 I was selected as the third D.A.R.E. Officer for the City of St. Peters.
As the D.A.R.E. Officer I taught the D.A.R.E. program at Hawthorn for fifteen years, and Mid Rivers Elementary for nine years. I also taught at Sts. Joachim & Ann and All Saints for seventeen years. In May of 2010 I retired from the St. Peters Police and began teaching Physical Education at All Saints.
In the past two years I have completed the RCIA classes, became part of the Men's CHRP # 7 group, and recently completed the Paul VI classes. I am so happy to be able to say that I am a Catholic.
In the Physical Education classes it is important that the students understand how important it is to be healthy. My main goal in the P.E. classes is to keep the students moving. We do that with warm ups and games that they have grown up with, I am always looking for different activities to keep them moving.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the students, parents, teachers, and staff for the patience as I take on a new career.
Please remember that my door is always open when it comes to the health of our students
