The Spanish language is an important part of the curriculum at All Saints Catholic School. Our students are introduced to Spanish from the beginning and the curriculum advances as the children proceed through junior high.
Our classes focus on building vocabulary and expanding comprehension through reading, writing, grammar, songs, games, and other activities.
The overall objectives of the Spanish Class are to develop, reinforce, and refine proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and culture. Through an essentially inductive approach, students will gain an understanding of how the language is structured and how they can use this knowledge to express their own needs and talk about the world around them. By developing and refining their skills of observation, students also acquire a basic understanding and appreciation of diversity of cultures in the Spanish-speaking wolrd.
