If you pass by the music room, here are some things you might hear as the different classes are present during their scheduled time slots.
These days you will hear grades K-4 singing Advent and Christmas songs. Yes, we have moved past the Halloween marathon last week and are practicing for our Christmas Concert in the gym on Dec. 13 at 7:00 p.m. More news will come home soon about dress, etc. It will be a combination of Advent songs that remind us so much that we need to prepare ourselves for that great gift of Jesus who comes to be born in our hearts each Christmas.
For the next couple of weeks Grades 5-8 are learning about the New Roman Missal that will begin in Advent. We are studying the changes and learning the new music that our parish has been working on. We will also be practicing some new songs that we will sing at our Masses in December.
